Why We Create
Running on Coffee & Grace is built for the everyday moments where faith is lived out; in the gym, in the carpool line, in the quiet hours before sunrise, and in the middle of the unknown. Our work is shaped by grit and grace working together: courage when life feels heavy, faith when the path isn’t clear, and the steady becoming of who God designed you to be. Every resource we create is meant to meet people where they are and help them grow stronger — inside and out.
Legacy Behind the Love
Some legacies are stitched quietly into the fabric of who we become. Ashleigh’s Grams was one of those legacies — unwavering, gentle, steady. She showed up to every volleyball match, every dance recital, every Tumbling & Trampoline competition, cheering with a warm smile, and a cup of black coffee in hand.
She loved Shirley Temple movies, Mickey Mouse, Disney magic, puzzles spread across the table, and the delicate beauty of Japanese blue willow plates. She supported her family with everything she had, and her presence shaped generations.
The Inspired by Grams- Legacy Line honors her life, her love, and the quiet strength she carried. It celebrates the people who show up, who steady us, and who leave us better than they found us.
The Story Behind the Strength
Ashleigh grew up a competitive athlete, shaped by movement, discipline, and the joy of sport. She earned degrees in Psychology, Exercise Science, and Sport–Exercise Psychology, and has coached athletes across multiple sports. Today, she owns and coaches at a tumbling and trampoline gym where she pours her passion into developing strong, confident young people.
Her journey has also been shaped by profound resilience. At 28, Ashleigh received a life‑saving liver transplant after a 8 year battle against a diagnosis of Wilson’s Disease. What could have ended her athletic path instead became a testimony of God’s faithfulness. A decade later, she competes for Team USA at the Summer World Transplant Games, serves as a Trustee for the World Transplant Games Federation, and advocates for organ donation through Transplant Life Illinois.
Beyond titles, Ashleigh is an author, an athlete, coach, spouse, parent, daughter, sibling, friend, and follower of Christ doing her best to keep life stitched together with coffee, grace, and a whole lot of faith.
